Al imprimir en modo bidireccional la TM-U300 alcanza una velocidad de impresión de 3,5 líneas por segundo en 40 columnas y 5,8 líneas por segundo en 20 columnas siendo la impresora mas rápida en su clase. Posee además la capacidad de imprimir en dos colores (rojo y negro), pudiendo lograrse originales diseños que hacen atractivo y claro el ticket emitido.
