Este lector cuenta con variadas características y ofrece el mismo desempeño encontrado en toda la serie de lectores Voyager. Una de las ventajas que tiene el VoyagerPDF es la habilidad para decodificar códigos de 2 Dimensiones tales como PDF417, PDF417 Truncado y GS-1 DataBar.
El VoyagerPDF logra la lectura del código PDF417 mediante un barrido de su láser de alta velocidad de arriba hacia abajo sobre el código, recopilando la información de cada línea leída.
