El Symbol AP300 es un access port de banda doble indicada para entornos donde las prestaciones del modelo AP100 (IEEE802.11b) se quedan cortas. El modelo AP300 es muy económico y permite usar el estándar IEEE802.11a en la banda de frecuencia de 5 GHz.
El funcionamiento simultáneo con los estándares 802.11a, 802.11b y 802.11g hace posibles conexiones inalámbricas de banda ancha a velocidades de hasta 54 Mb/s en las bandas ISM de 2,4 y 5,2 GHz.
